In 2012, they started hinting at new material before deciding to call it quits. They broke the news while on stage at the Manchester HMV Ritz venue, with the frontman telling the crowd “Goodbye forever”.

“We all knew it wasn’t working,” drummer Joe Manning told NME in April 2013, discussing the split. “There’s no one explanation for it. There’s a million reasons that don’t amount to much more than it just didn’t work. No-one is trying to cover anything up. If it doesn’t work it’s going to break eventually.”
Alongside the new music and upcoming shows, Wu Lyf have also restarted their Lucifer Youth Foundation subscription service and suggested that more live dates will be announced soon.
