Naomi Watts’s Lace Wedding Dress From Oscar de la Renta

Naomi Watts’s Lace Wedding Dress From Oscar de la Renta

Naomi Watts was one chic bride. On June 9, the actor tied the knot with Billy Crudup in an intimate NYC courthouse ceremony, wearing a beautiful Oscar de la Renta dress for the special occasion. Featuring a sheer lace design with water lilies all over, the classic gown came with a sweetheart neckline and a simple A-line skirt. While the intricate style isn’t from the designer’s bridal line, it made for the perfect ensemble for Watts and Crudup’s low-key nuptials.

In a blissful photo shared by Watts on June 10, the couple was all smiles as they posed together on the steps of the courthouse. “Hitched!” she wrote alongside a few wedding-related emoji. Watts accessorized the bridal look with strappy gold sandals from Gianvito Rossi, a diamond Anita Ko necklace, and a bouquet of flowers from the deli. She styled her blond bob into loose waves. Crudup embraced his wife in a white button-down under a dark blue suit, adorned with a boutonniere.

Stylist Jeanann Williams also offered a glimpse at the actor’s big day, congratulating the newlyweds and posting close-ups of the gorgeous lace details on the dress. Watts thanked Williams for “talking me into going beyond my own closet and sending me the gorgeous dress.”

Watts and Crudup have been linked since 2017, but they only confirmed their relationship last year, making their red carpet debut at the SAG Awards in February 2022. It’s unclear exactly when the two got engaged, though Watts fueled rumors while wearing a diamond engagement ring on that finger in April.

Get a closer look at Watts’s wedding-day ensemble ahead.
