With Superman now on streaming, audiences have been revisiting the summer blockbuster and first installment of the DCU. However, a deleted scene from the film has surfaced online, which features one of the funnier moments from the James Gunn production.
Collider has released a new deleted scene from Superman, which features Krypto and Mr. Terrific (Edi Gathegi) team up during the final battle in Metropolis. While the canine superhero is busy eating at a pet shop, Mr. Terrific attempts to convince him to fly him up to the sky with treats. While audiences know this ends up working in the film, the deleted scene reveals that Krypto bites the Justice Gang hero’s foot. It’s a playful sequence that adds more levity to the film, as well as some useful context.
