Noah Cyrus is giving the sheer trend a whirl at Paris Fashion Week. The singer attended the Alexandre Vauthier haute couture spring 2023 show on Jan. 24 wearing a completely sheer dress and embellished bikini. The unexpected outfit consisted of a metallic embellished bikini layered under a black pleated dress with a high collar. The gown’s ruffled hem fluttered in all directions, creating a cape effect.
Somewhere between going-out dress and nightgown, the piece was likely a negligible layer of protection against the cold. Still, the breezy fabric created a dramatic silhouette à la Morticia Addams. It also revealed a few of Cyrus’s many tattoos, including the heart ink near her left shoulder. She styled the look with strappy black heels and subtle jewelry.
The design was a bold choice to brave the winter chill in France, but Cyrus went even bolder with her styling choices that same day: hours later, the “July” singer went completely topless in a plunging open-front gown. In lieu of a bra or top, Cyrus paired the dress with an oversize chain-link necklace to cover her chest.
Other celebrities who have made adventurous fashion choices this week include Anya Taylor-Joy in a plunging Dior corset top and Kylie Jenner in a Schiaparelli couture dress affixed with a realistic faux lion’s head.
