As Paris Hilton spoke to host Jimmy Fallon about her wedding and current projects on “The Tonight Show” on Jan. 24, her shimmery lime-green dress popped boldly on screen. The choice of her stylist Sammy K, the Giuseppe di Morabito design featured a turtleneck and a thigh-high slit that showcased her toned legs. As we appreciated this skin-reveal moment, we also couldn’t help but notice the entrepreneur’s slightly mismatched shoes. On the right foot, she wore a simple Giuseppe Zanotti nude pump, while the left foot feature another nude pump but with sparkles adorning the heel and toe.
Was this an intentional wardrobe malfunction? It definitely made for lighthearted, good-natured banter. Or was she just rushing to get out of her hotel? Fallon wondering the same thing as he poked fun at the wrong shoes in an Instagram post. Is this a shoe trend we can expect to see more of in 2022?
