Pro sports celebrities support Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation at Ollie’s Celebrity Golf Open

Celebrities from Major League Baseball, the National Football League, the National Basketball Association and others take part in the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Celebrity Golf Open benefiting the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation, at the Colonial Golf and Tennis Club in Harrisburg, Pa., Sept. 14, 2017. This is the fourth golf open hosted by Ollie’s. The event, which is by invitation only, and attended by business partners and vendors of Ollie’s, is held every two years. Over the years, the golf open has raised over $1 million for the Cal Ripken Sr. foundation. The foundation was founded in 2001 by members of the Ripken family in memory of Cal Ripken Sr. The foundation uses baseball and softball themed programs to help build character and teach critical life lessons to underserved youth residing in America’s most distressed communities.
