Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua left Thursday’s practice early after sustaining a knee injury, according to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic.
Nacua – who was officially listed as a limited participant at practice – hurt the same knee that forced him to land on injured reserve earlier this season. However, his most recent ailment isn’t believed to be serious, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The second-year receiver’s status for Week 9 against the Seattle Seahawks is uncertain, notes Schefter.
Coming off a historic rookie campaign in 2023, Nacua sustained a knee injury in Week 1 this season and missed five games. He returned last week versus the Minnesota Vikings, catching seven passes for 106 yards to help the Rams claim a 30-20 victory. Los Angeles also welcomed wideout Cooper Kupp back from injury against Minnesota.
Nacua posted a spectacular freshman season as a fifth-round pick, setting rookie records for receptions (105) and receiving yards (1,486). The 23-year-old also caught six touchdowns.
