Aaron Rodgers jerseys are a hot seller right now.
The veteran quarterback’s New York Jets jersey was the NFL’s top-selling jersey for the month of April, according to NFL Shop. The Green Bay Packers traded Rodgers – who had previously signaled his intent to join New York – to the Jets on April 26 after 18 seasons.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts finished second in jersey sales, with Patrick Mahomes, Odell Beckham Jr., and Josh Allen rounding out the top five. Jordan Love, Rodgers’ replacement with Green Bay, also ranked in the top 10.
Rodgers wore No. 12 throughout his time with the Packers but switched to No. 8 after joining the Jets out of respect for Hall of Famer Joe Namath; New York retired Namath’s No. 12 jersey in 1985. Rodgers previously wore No. 8 in college at Cal.
Rodgers, 39, will make his regular-season debut with the Jets on Sept. 11 against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
