One of DC’s most endearing characters is preparing for his return to the Netflix screen. This is Sweet Tooth, the series adaptation that premiered in 2021, and has been working on its continuation for a long time after the success and good reception of the first part.
This second installment will feature the return of the protagonists of the first: Nonso Anozie as Jepperd, Adeel Akhtar as Dr. Singh, Will Forte as Richard, Stefania LaVie Owen as Bear, Dania Ramirez as Aimee Eden, Aliza Vellani as Rani Singh, and James Brolin as the voice of the narrator, alongside lead Christian Convery.
They will now be joined as regulars by Wendy, General Abbot, and Johnny Abbot, played by Naledi Murray, Neil Sandilands, and Marlon Williams. However, the biggest news comes from Deadline, which reports the new additions to the show. According to the outlet, Christopher Sean Cooper Jr. and Yonas Kibreab will join the franchise. Cooper will portray Teddy Turtle, while Kibreab will portray Finn Fox.

The series, initially made for Hulu before moving to Netflix, also has some unusual names behind it, including Robert Downey Jr., who serves as an executive producer, and his wife, Susan Downey. Sweet Tooth also has the added charm of voiceover narration by James Brolin, father of actor Josh Brolin, and has been praised for its inspiring soundtrack.

The world has been devastated by a catastrophic event.
Gus, seeing everything around him, joins a family of half-human, half-animal hybrids as he searches for answers to the questions he has always asked about his origins and why he is half-human and half-deer.
