Better Call Saul Stars React as Final Season Finally Arrives on Netflix

The final season of Better Call Saul is now streaming on Netflix. While the sixth and final season had long been streaming on the platform in other parts of the world, subscribers in the United States and Canada hadn’t had access to the final episodes until April 18. There are some fans who didn’t catch the show live and have since been waiting to binge all of the episodes at once upon their arrival on Netflix, making the date a cause for celebration that even some stars of the show are acknowledging online.

Responding to the announcement of the news by co-creator Peter Gould, Bob Odenkirk (Saul Goodman, aka Jimmy McGill) tweeted, “This is such great news. I am so proud to have been part of this excellent show that began with the high level writing and everyone at every level gave their best everyday. Please watch the final eps on Netflix and thanks to all.”

“Of course we’re happy… Season 6 is now on [Netflix],” tweets Howard Hamlin actor Patrick Fabian, including an amage of himself smiling alongside Tony Dalton (Lalo Salamanca).

Another image was shared to Twitter by Michael Mando, who played fan favorite Ignacio “Nacho” Varga. In the photo, Mando can be seen dancing with Rhea Seehorn (Kim Wexler). He adds a caption that similarly celebrates the show’s stateside arrival on Netflix.

“A blast from the past! Why are Rhea & I the only 2 dancing? Because we know the final season 6 of Better Call Saul is now out in the US & CAN on Netflix,” the tweet reads.

Peter Diseth, who played attorney Bill Oakley throughout the series, posted an image of himself from the final season. Using a photo of Bill making his way through an airplane to get to his seat, Diseth joked, “Excuse me, excuse me! I have to go to Netflix, because season 6 of Better Call Saul just dropped! Pardon me!”

Better Call Saul Wraps Up the Breaking Bad Story

Sony Pictures Television

We won’t get into spoiler territory here for the fans who’ve been waiting for today before watching the final season. What can be said is that the series brings an end to the Breaking Bad franchise, at least for now. The show’s creators, Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, have moved on to working on other projects with no new shows in the works set in that world. But that doesn’t mean the collaborations will end, as Rhea Seehorn will star in Gilligan’s upcoming sci-fi series in development at Apple TV+. Meanwhile, Bob Odenkirk has stuck around at AMC as the star of the new series Lucky Hank, which just premiered last month to strong reviews.

Find out what happens to Saul Goodman and Co. by binging the final season of Better Call Saul, now on Netflix.
