There’s a lot of love being sent to Bob Odenkirk in honor of the accomplished actor’s 60th birthday. Along with fans across the world sending well wishes, members of his Better Call Saul have also been coming out to celebrate Odenkirk. That includes Michael McKean, who spent three seasons playing Chuck McGill, the older brother to Odenkirk’s Jimmy “Saul Goodman” McGill.
“Happy birthday to our [Bob Odenkirk]!” McKean posted on Twitter.
Rhea Seehorn, aka Kim Wexler, posted a message that reads, “Happy birthday to this rock star! So glad you’re on the planet and in my life. Love you, [Bob Odenkirk]!”

While Patrick Fabian’s Howard Hamlin would sometimes butt heads with Jimmy McGill, the actor has long been close with Odenkirk behind the scenes. In honor of Odenkirk’s birthday, Fabian posted an image of their Better Call Saul characters posing together in an interesting way. In the tweet, Fabian wrote, “What A Relief! It’s [Bob Odenkirk]’s Birthday today! Send some [love] his way.”
Gus Fring actor Giancarlo Esposito also posted an image of himself with Odenkirk and wrote, “Happy Birthday Maestro!!!! Love you Bob!”
Better Call Saul co-creator Peter Gould also got into the birthday fun. He too tweeted a photograph of himself standing with Odenkirk while sending along a happy birthday message. Gould wrote, “Happy birthday to the MAN! Have a great one, [Bob Odenkirk]!!”
And even the official account for Sony Pictures Television acknowledged the popular character with an image of Saul Goodman and a post that reads, “happy birthday to our *legendary* Saul Goodman, [Bob Odenkirk]!”

Better Call Saul ended this year after six seasons, but the cast members have continued to stay in touch. Odenkirk will even continue to work with them on various projects, such as a book about acting he says he’s co-writing with Rhea Seehorn. It was also announced that Odenkirk is working on the upcoming film The Making of Jesus Diabetes with Andrew Friedman and Michael Naughton, both of whom shared the screen with Odenkirk in Better Call Saul. That’s separate from Odenkirk’s dramedy series Straight Man which will keep him around on AMC in a new starring role.
The show’s co-creator Vince Gilligan has also recently lined up a new series at Apple TV+ and has already gotten a two-season order. Not much has been revealed about the show but it will feature Seehorn in a starring role. It would not be surprising to see some of the other members of the extended Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul family to also make appearances.
So what of Better Call Saul? There are no active plans for that show to continue with any other spinoffs, so we may have seen the very last of those characters. However, as noted above, there is still so much to look forward to from the show’s stars.
