Bridgerton Season 3 & Rumors
Netflix
Bridgerton was renewed for seasons 3 and 4 in April 2021, following its record-breaking ratings. The second season of Bridgerton, one of the most-watched Netflix series, was released last March. Now, the eyes of the fans are on the third season of the series and the high society of 19th-century London. Bridgerton season 3 will focus on the romance between Penelope (Lady Whistledown) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
Netflix released this news in a letter from Lady Whistledown herself:
”Dear members, looks like we have a special announcement. Bridgerton will return for the third and fourth seasons. This writer will need to buy more inks…”
It’s been claimed that Bridgerton season 3 filming was delayed because Shonda Rhimes was not ‘happy’ with the story’s direction amid a “very dark” sex plotline. One source told The Mail on Sunday: “Filming has been delayed due to the screenwriter not being happy with the direction of it.” However, those reports have been disputed.
There is no confirmation on the release date of Bridgerton season 3.
