Mel Gibson To Shoot ‘The Passion of the Christ’ Sequel in Summer 2025

The controversial actor and director, who has slowly wormed his way back into the upper echelons of Hollywood over the last few years, will reportedly make his long-gestating The Passion of the Christ sequel, The Resurrection of the Christ, later this year, with the biblical epic follow-up to “start shooting in August at Rome’s Cinecittà Studios,” CEO Manuela Cacciamani has revealed.
