Moon Knight’s Oscar Isaac and The Batman’s Zoe Kravitz are both set to make their respective hosting debuts on SNL next month.

Saturday Night Live will be pulling in some superhero talent next month to host the show. Oscar Isaac, who will soon be leading his own Marvel series Moon Knight, has been tapped to host the March 5 episode of SNL. He’ll be joined by musical guest Charli XCX for the episode following her cancelation from a previously scheduled appearance on the Dec. 18 show with Paul Rudd. This is Isaac’s first time hosting SNL and it’s Charli XCX’s second musical guest spot.
SNL will switch gears from Marvel over to DC with their next host. On the March 12 episode, Big Little Lies and High Fidelity star Zoe Kravitz will be making her hosting debut. Of course, Kravitz is set to appear as Catwoman in The Batman, one of her biggest roles yet, which we can only presume will serve as fodder for a sketch or two on the show. Rosalía will be the musical guest on Kravitz’s episode to help promote the release of her third studio album Motomami on March 18. It’s Rosalía’s first time on SNL as well.

First, John Mulaney will serve as the host of the Feb. 26 episode of SNL with LCD Soundsystem returning for their second time as the musical guest. The episode also marks the fifth for Mulaney as host, putting him in the elite Five-Timers Club most recently joined by Paul Rudd in December. SNL has been on hiatus since Willem Dafoe hosted on Jan. 29 alongside Katy Perry, marking yet another actor in a major superhero project to come on board as guest host.

These appearances are tied to major projects by each actor also releasing in March. Up first will come The Batman, finally hitting the big screen on March 4 after a tumultuous production process and many significant delays. Featuring Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman alongside Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne/Batman, The Batman looks to be just as much of a Catwoman film as a Batman one.
“This is an origin story for Selina,” Kravitz told Empire last year, teasing a prominent role for Catwoman in the movie. “So, it’s the beginning of her figuring out who she is, beyond just someone trying to survive. I think there’s a lot of space to grow and I think we are watching her become what I’m sure will be the femme fatale.”
Meanwhile, Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight series will start streaming at the end of the month, set to hit Disney+ on March 30. The six-episode limited series will further expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe, following Isaac as Marc Spector – a mercenary with dissociative identity disorder who gets drawn into a deadly mystery involving Egyptian gods. It is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.
Isaac will host SNL on March 5, with Moon Knight premiering on Disney+ on March 30. Kravitz will host the sketch comedy series on March 12 after first appearing in The Batman on March 4.
