The CW Cancels Walker Prequel, Renews Parent Series for Fourth Season

As a result, the network has opted to cancel the show and seek out new U.S. originals to replace it.
According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, The CW plans to introduce two new U.S. original shows in the fall to replace Walker: Independence. Both of these shows will consist of 13 episodes. Additionally, the network will replace these shows with two more U.S. originals come midseason.
