This New Jewelry Collab Is a Subtle, Powerful Statement on Resilience

Jewelry designer Shlomit Ofir has always believed that what we wear should hold meaning. Known for her refined, minimalist designs and dedication to craftsmanship, Ofir creates pieces that quietly accompany the wearer through daily life while elevating everyday moments with intention. Now, she’s channeled that ethos into a new collaboration with American Friends of NATAL (AFN), a nonprofit that supports NATAL, an apolitical non-profit organization that offers psychological and emotional treatment and support to victims of trauma due to war and terror.

Together, they’ve launched the “Wear Your Resilience” necklace, a limited-edition piece that embodies the journey of healing, strength, and emotional renewal. At a glance, the pendant is graceful and understated. But behind its elegant silhouette is a story of support.

Designing for the Invisible Wounds
The centerpiece of the necklace is The NATAL Tree, a symbol created by the Israeli-based NATAL organization to represent recovery, post-traumatic growth, and resilience in the face of adversity.

The pendant’s tree motif was chosen for what it represents: regrowth from devastation, stability in the face of chaos, and the idea that healing doesn’t mean erasing the past. It means learning to live and thrive alongside it.

Crafted in sterling silver with a polished gold-plated finish, the necklace is both timeless and symbolic. It comes packaged in a beautifully designed gift box, along with a personal note from Shlomit Ofir and American Friends of NATAL that shares the deeper meaning behind the piece. Retailing at $108, the necklace is a small but impactful way to wear a message of strength or to gift one to someone who needs a physical reminder that they are not alone.

Jewelry That Gives Back—In Every Sense
Since the war in Israel escalated on October 7, NATAL’s helpline has been inundated with more than 5,000 calls per day from individuals seeking urgent psychological support. That number reflects a deep and ongoing mental health crisis, one that’s often invisible but no less real than the physical devastation of conflict.

Proceeds from every necklace go directly to support NATAL’s efforts on the ground: expanding clinical services, training additional volunteers, and providing emergency psychological care for individuals, families, and entire communities in crisis. For the AFN team, this collaboration is part of a broader mission to build awareness around mental health, particularly the kind of trauma that’s difficult to see, but critical to address.

The Vision Behind the Brand
Shlomit Ofir launched her namesake brand in a small studio in Tel Aviv over a decade ago, guided by a desire to create jewelry that felt meaningful, wearable, and accessible. Her early collections, marked by their clean lines, soft palettes, and feminine energy, quickly gained attention both in Israel and abroad. Today, her designs are sold in boutiques across Europe, the U.S., and Asia.

Still, her studio remains proudly local and women-led, producing each piece in-house to maintain a high level of quality and care. Ofir sees jewelry not just as an accessory, but as an expression of identity and emotional connection.

Why It Matters Now
Mental health is a topic that’s gaining more visibility, but in regions affected by ongoing conflict, it’s still often underfunded, under-discussed, and overwhelmed. The “Wear Your Resilience” necklace quietly brings that conversation into a space many people interact with daily—fashion. And in doing so, it offers a subtle but important reminder: what we wear can be both beautiful and deeply human.

Whether layered with your go-to chains or worn alone, this necklace is a way to show solidarity.
