Vira Bushta’s Precision-Driven Rise in the Global Beauty Industry

The nail industry has long operated without clear, consistent standards. Vira Bushta is part of a new generation working to change that.

Her career began in Ukraine in 2017, where she built a strong technical foundation through professional training and early competition work. From the beginning, her focus was clear. Precision, structure, and consistency were not optional. They were the baseline.

Over time, her results placed her among top performers across Europe and the United States. What started as technical training developed into a broader professional path that now includes competition, education, judging, and brand development.

Now based in Los Angeles, Bushta works across several roles. Vira is a nail artist, educator, international judge, and founder of Beauty Vibes LA. Alongside her client work, she continues developing her own approach to manicure technique, with a focus on safety, control, and repeatable results.

A Competitive Foundation Built on Discipline
Bushta’s early training took place at well-known schools in Ukraine, including Lima School and the school of Irina Vakulenko. These programs are known for their strict focus on structure and technical accuracy, which shaped how she approaches her work today.

She began competing early in her career and treated it as part of her development, not just an extra step.

Over the years, she has participated in competitions across Ukraine, Europe, and the United States. Her results include multiple first-place titles at events such as the World Beauty Championship, Empire of Beauty Championships in several countries, Imperial of Beauty, and the Winners’ League Final in Helsinki.

Her recent results show the same level of consistency.

In 2025, she placed on the podium at Nailympia Orlando and the Global Talent Beauty Cup in New York. In March 2026, she won first place at the Golden Nail Awards. Across 16 competition entries, she has earned nine first-place finishes.
In 2025, she was also named a laureate of the TOP 100 Specialist Award, an international recognition program that selects a limited number of professionals globally each year.

Competition shaped more than her results. It shaped how she works.

Working under strict criteria and time pressure requires control, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver the same level of quality every time. Those habits continue to define her approach, whether she is working with clients, teaching, or judging.

Expanding into Education, Judging, and Method Development
As her career grew, Bushta began focusing more on education and judging.

She became a certified manicure instructor in 2020 and has continued her training with more than 15 advanced certifications. These include nail anatomy, material chemistry, apparatus manicure, podology, and safe cuticle techniques. In 2025, she also received a Coach Certificate from the Union of Masters of Beauty of Ukraine.

That same year, she became a certified judge under the International Beauty Judging Academy and holds a judge certification from the Union of Masters of Beauty of Ukraine.

These roles give her a wider view of the industry. She not only works at a high level, but also evaluates what that level looks like across different styles, techniques, and professionals.

This experience led her to develop her own system, the Dermacare Cuticle-Safe Manicure Technique, known as DCMT.

The method focuses on clean cuticle work done with control and care. The goal is to reduce damage while maintaining a polished result. It gives technicians a structured way to approach their work so results are consistent, not dependent on guesswork.

That structure matters.

In the United States, issues such as cuts, infections, and chemical irritation can still happen when technique is inconsistent or tools are not handled properly. These are common problems in an industry that does not always follow the same technical standards.

A clear method provides a way to reduce those risks.

The DCMT method has already been adopted by professionals in Ukraine and is starting to gain attention in the United States.

In 2026, Bushta published her book, DCMT Method for Safe Manicure and Clean Gel Coating, making the method available to a wider group of nail professionals and allowing it to be applied beyond her own work.

Building Beauty Vibes LA and Looking Ahead
Moving to the United States marked a new stage in Bushta’s career.

Starting in a new market meant adjusting to different expectations, regulations, and client needs. It also meant building her presence again from the ground up. Her competition background and training helped her make that transition while maintaining the same level of quality.

In 2023, she founded Beauty Vibes LA in Los Angeles.

The brand brings together the different parts of her work. Through it, she provides nail services to a private clientele, teaches professional techniques through master classes, and continues developing and sharing the DCMT method.

She also works as an ambassador and educator for Gel Point, taking part in industry events such as the Utah Nail Expo and Florida Nail Expo. These events allow her to stay connected to the wider professional community while sharing her approach with other technicians.

Today, her work covers client services, education, judging, and method development. Each part supports the others, creating a more complete approach to the industry.

Looking ahead, she plans to expand the DCMT method through structured training programs and continue growing Beauty Vibes LA. She also plans to remain active in international competitions and judging.

Her direction is steady and clear.

For Vira Bushta, quality comes from precision, and precision comes from discipline.
