Oasis’ have kicked off their Live ’25 reunion tour in South Korea with their replacement guitarist for Bonehead, Mike Moore.
Earlier this month, Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs announced that he would be taking a planned break from the tour to continue with “the next phase of care” of his prostate cancer treatment.
Moore, who has previously played with Liam Gallagher’s solo band and has been an ever-present on the singer’s three solo albums since 2017, filled in for Bonehead for the first of their shows in Asia and Australia which kicked off today (October 21) at Goyang Stadium. It comes after Moore was spotted at Seoul airport over the weekend.
While Bonehead couldn’t be there, the band made his presence known with a cardboard cut-out of the guitarist, which sat alongside their regular cut-out of Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola.
Bonehead even drew attention to the cut-out on his Instagram page writing: “Play it loud Amigos.”

As with all their other shows, the band rolled through the same setlist of hits that leaned heavily towards material from their first two albums. You can view footage below.
When Bonehead made his announcement at the start of the month, he said: “I’m really sad to be missing these shows but l’m feeling good and will be back ready to go in time for South America. Have an amazing time if you’re going this month and I’ll see you back onstage with the band in November.”
He revealed that he was “responding well” to treatment after having been diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier in the year. He had previously been given the all-clear from tonsil cancer back in 2022.
Arthurs, the original and founding guitarist for Oasis before his exit in 1999, and later a regular in Liam Gallagher‘s solo band, has been commended for his role in the current reunion line-up for adding real heft and power to the sound.
Paying tribute to Bonehead on stage earlier this summer, Noel Gallagher said that he was responsible for Oasis’ return – telling the crowd in Cardiff: “If it wasn’t for him, none of this would have happened.”
After South Korea, Oasis will play two nights in Tokyo on October 25 and 26, before heading to Australia for three shows in Melbourne and two in Sydney. Bonehead is scheduled to return to the line-up for the final dates of the tour, which take place in Argentina, Chile and Brazil in November.
Meanwhile, rumours have begun swirling that Oasis may announce more dates for 2026. Liam memorably teased more to come at their final Wembley gig, with him announcing: “‘Champagne Supernova’, see you next year.” He then playfully slapped himself on the wrists to scold himself for letting it slip.
