A curious leak has seemingly revealed that Marvel is developing a new Daredevil series. Coming courtesy of a report by known scooper Murphy’s Multiverse, Marvel Studios has formed a new LLC (limited liability company) named “Blind Faith Productions LLC,” which could not be a cheekier allusion to Daredevil if it tried. While this report is in no way confirmed to be a Daredevil project, the name of the LLC refers to both the Marvel antihero’s physical characteristics and his spiritual beliefs, and with Daredevil and the rest of The Defenders now due to land on Disney+, could this really be anything else?
Beginning back in 2015, the Netflix Daredevil series introduces Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock AKA Daredevil, a blind lawyer-by-day who fights crime as a masked vigilante by night. Using his heightened senses, which he gained after being blinded as a young boy, Matt Murdock fights crime at night on the streets of New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood as Daredevil and begins uncovering a conspiracy of the criminal underworld being led by Wilson Fisk.

Co-starring Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Toby Leonard Moore, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Bob Gunton, and Ayelet Zurer, the likes of Jon Bernthal, Élodie Yung, and Stephen Rider join the cast for season two, with Joanne Whalley, Jay Ali and Wilson Bethel joining in season three. Daredevil gradually introduced other well-known Marvel characters such as The Punisher, Electra, and Bullseye during its three-season run and was met with acclaim from both critics and audiences alike.
Charlie Cox Has Already Teased What He Would Like to See in a Daredevil Revival
Netflix/Marvel Studios
While we wait and see whether this alleged Daredevil project is a season 4 continuation, a reboot, a bit of both, or even a movie, star Charlie Cox has already begun to tease what he would like to see when the character does return. One major thing the actor hopes to see is a slightly more comic book-accurate costume for the title character.
“If there is some new suit or if it does morph or change or it’s redone or whatever, it will be so much more fun for the fans to just have that moment of like, ‘Oh shit, that’s what it is,’” the actor said recently. “What I would say is, I’ve always liked the idea that at some point in Matt’s journey, his emotional journey, and again, I don’t know how everything is happening, or what might happen, and how it ties into what we’ve already done, I have no idea at all. But I’ve always liked the idea that at some point he feels like he has earned the right to have the DD [on his chest], which we’ve never had.”
Following his crowd-pleasing cameo as Peter Parker’s lawyer in the recent big-screen MCU outing Spider-Man: No Way Home, audiences are excited to see a lot more from Charlie Cox as Daredevil, and Marvel would surely be crazy not to bring him back for his own series on Disney+.
