The Stranger Things Cast Answer Our Questions

The “Stranger Things” cast answered POPSUGAR’s most burning questions on the red carpet at the MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday, June 5. Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, and Joseph Quinn presented at the award show and took a second to chat with us outside the ceremony.

All three men joined “Stranger Things” for season four, introducing three fan-favorite characters. Quinn plays Eddie Munson, who’s befriended the gang in Hawkins over games of Dungeons & Dragons. Franco plays Argyle, a pizza delivery man who ends up caught up in some seriously scary action. And Bower is ultimately revealed as the season’s main antagonist.

Bower talked to Vanity Fair about how surprised he was to join the show in such a central way. “I was surprised from the moment I got the audition!” he said. “I was like, really? Me? But I was in this total mode of surrender. Like, this is wild. Let it happen. I love villains. And I love the villain in this show, but I don’t see him as a villain. Obviously, he’s our point of contention, as it were. But I never saw him as the villain because I understood him.”

Fans are currently waiting for the second half of season four to drop on July 1. Until then, watch our exclusive POPSUGAR videos, which also feature David Castañeda and Aidan Gallagher from “The Umbrella Academy” and Taylor John Smith from “Where the Crawdads Sing,” ahead!
