Chrissy Teigen’s Pink Vivienne Westwood Minidress in NYC

It’s a Barbie world, and Chrissy Teigen decided to embrace her inner Barbie girl during a stroll through New York City on May 9. Dressed in a plunging minidress by Vivienne Westwood, Teigen became the latest celebrity to hop on the Barbiecore trend. The delicate design featured a draped silhouette reminiscent of a blooming flower against the city’s concrete backdrop. She styled the outfit with silver peep-toe platform heels and pearl-drop earrings.

Teigen’s off-the-shoulder dress — which showed off her sweet arm tattoos — featured a ruffled sweetheart neckline with front-tie detailing underneath the bust. The monochrome look hit just above her mid-thigh. On her feet, the strappy stilettos boasted a geometric design with layered ankle straps on each leg. As she strutted down the sidewalk, Teigen made balancing in the shoes look like she was floating. She even popped one foot in the air and fluttered her arms to the side like the lead in a fairy-tale rom-com. Together, her slicked-back hair and simple jewelry made her look like a Barbie doll fresh out of the box.

Other stars who have cosigned the Barbie pink trend include Priyanka Chopra in a plunging fuchsia dress at Paris Fashion Week, Megan Fox in an Andamane co-ord set during a day out, and multiple celebrities in Valentino pink. With Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” movie set to premiere on July 21, we expect we’ll be seeing several other celebrities — Teigen included — incorporating aspects of Barbie’s personal style into their wardrobes.
