Underworld announce 2024 UK and European tour

Underworld have announced a series of UK and EU tour dates for next year. Find ticket details below.

The British electronic duo – comprised of Rick Smith and Karl Hyde – will hit the road throughout 2024 for a series of live performances, including three shows in the UK.

The announcement comes in light of their recently released hypnotic single ‘Denver Luna’, which arrived earlier this year and also came in an Acapella format. It also comes on the heels of their recent live appearances throughout 2023 – including a sold-out slot at the Royal Albert Hall in London and a set at Coachella festival this summer.

For the 2024 tour, Underworld will kick off the shows with an opening slot at the UFO Velodrom venue in Berlin, Germany on March 22, before continuing the following day with a show in Copenhagen.

From there Smith and Hyde will play shows in Oslo, Brussels and Frankfurt throughout the month, before continuing the final run of spring dates in the UK.

These UK shows will begin at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on April 3, and continue with a show at Alexandra Palace in London three days later (6). The final of the scheduled tour dates will take place in Manchester on April 12 and will be held at Aviva Studios.

Tickets go on sale this Friday (October 27) at 10am local time and can be found here. Pre-sale options will be from tomorrow (October 25), and fans will receive the ticket link via the Underworld newsletter.

In other Underworld news, earlier this year the duo debuted four new songs during their first show of the year.

Held at the 1,600-capacity venue The Marble Factory in Bristol, Underworld performed a 15-track set which included then-unreleased songs ‘Gene Pool’, ‘Strawberry Hotel’, ‘And The Colour Red’, and the aforementioned ‘Denver Luna’.

Underworld’s last album was ‘Drift Songs’ in 2019. It came as part of a new project called ‘Drift’ which saw the band release new music, art and text pieces weekly over the course of a year.
