After years of development, the Red Sonja reboot has finally arrived. The action fantasy film has faced trial and tribulation, but the official trailer unleashes the long-awaited return of the powerful warrior. The question is, was it worth the wait? Although fans will be the judge when it releases later this year, the new footage doesn’t spark much confidence in the reboot.
The first trailer for Red Sonja features Matilda Lutz (Revenge) in the starring role, alongside Martyn Ford, Robert Sheehan, Wallis Day, Michael Bisping, Philip Winchester, Trevor Eve, Luca Pasqualino, and Rhona Mitra. The film is set to hit theaters on August 15 and on digital platforms August 29. Check it out below:
