Billie Eilish has solidified herself as one of the most talented singers in the current music scene. There’s no doubt that she’ll continue to build her legacy and eventually be seen as one of the most influential of all time. From winning various awards, including nine Grammys, two Academy Awards, and two Golden Globes, whatever Eilish attaches her name to becomes an automatic hit. Now, she’s preparing to work with one of the greatest directors of all time, James Cameron, on a special 3D project. The singer made the announcement during a concert in Manchester on July 19, 2025, and has been very careful about sharing the details.
According to Variety, Eilish told fans that the project, which will be in collaboration with Cameron, will require her to wear the same outfit four times during her nights at Co-op Live, and the director was in the audience. More details will follow in the next few months regarding the purpose of the footage, including the project’s name, whether it’ll be released in theaters or via streaming, and other relevant information. Fans on social media have already made various speculations as to what it could be for. Some have high hopes that it will be a documentary or film showcasing the behind-the-scenes preparation for the concert, similar to Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour and Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé. Eilish told the crowd:
“So you may have noticed that there are more cameras than usual in here. Basically, I can’t say much about it but what I can say is that I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron and it’s going to be in 3D. So, take that as you will and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He’s in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don’t mind that, and also I’ll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row.”
