Every month, Apple TV+ continues to offer subscribers a handful of quality television shows and movies. November is no different for the streaming service, and audiences should most certainly be excited about the new films and returning television shows slated for release on the platform. While there might not be an abundance of content arriving in the coming weeks, that doesn’t mean viewers will be hard-pressed to find something worth their time.
As two popular series return for their second seasons, Apple TV+ also has a historical dramatic feature and a powerful documentary feature heading to the streaming service. There might not be many light-hearted films or shows coming in November, but viewers will want to check them out, nonetheless. Given the stellar casts littered throughout each show and film, audiences certainly won’t want to skip anything the platform has to offer next month.
Bad Sisters (Season 2)

Bad Sisters is a black comedy series that follows the five Garvey sisters, Eva (Sharon Horgan), Grace (Anne-Marie Duff), Ursula (Eva Birthistle), Bibi (Sarah Greene), and Becka (Eve Hewson), who all live in Dublin, Ireland. With a tight-knit bond, they have always had one another’s backs and have always promised to protect each other. However, when Grace’s abusive and controlling husband, JP (Claes Bang), unexpectedly dies, the event completely upends everyone’s lives and tests the sister’s bond like never before. Despite their desire to end JP’s life, they seemingly had nothing to do with it.

Unfortunately, Grace’s sisters find themselves at the center of a life insurance investigation. The series flips between the time before JP’s death, when the sisters begin plotting his murder, and after his death when an insurance agent named Tom (Brian Gleeson) tries desperately to prove the sisters’ involvement in order to save his struggling business. Knowing the settlement will bankrupt his family business, Tom pulls out all the stops to prove JP died as a result of foul play at the hands of the Garvey sisters. Bad Sisters Season 2 is streaming on Nov. 13.

Silo is a science fiction dystopian drama series that follows a community that lives in giant silos hundreds of stories below the surface of the earth. Bound by regulations they believe are intended to protect them and their future from the toxic wasteland that has ruined the world, 10,000 people are a part of the underground society. The show begins with Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson), an engineer tasked with solving the mystery surrounding the death of one of her colleagues. However, while doing so, she uncovers a startling secret that ultimately threatens the fabric of their enclosed world.
Despite its extensive construction, no one knows when the colossal silo was actually built, nor does anyone understand the real purpose behind its creation. Furthermore, anyone who seeks to dig deeper into the mystery of it all immediately faces fatal consequences. Stacked with a stellar cast, the series includes performances by Common, Tim Robbins, David Oyelowo, Harriet Walter, and Rashida Jones and welcomes Steve Zahn as the show enters its second season. Silo Season 2 is streaming on Nov. 15.

As a Black boy with a white mother, George is no stranger to intolerance and sorrow. Having never met his father, who was deported many years earlier for defending himself against the cruelty of two white men, George is left with only his mother and her father, Gerald (Paul Weller), to stand between him and the malice of the outside world. George is no stranger to bigotry. However, the immense peril he encounters in the midst of the Blitz is something completely different. Blitz is streaming on Nov. 22.
