For these Week 2 wide receiver rankings, I’m factoring in Week 1 performance, expected volume, matchup, role, and the latest injury updates. I’m also avoiding overreacting to single-game anomalies while recognizing players whose usage indicates their Week 1 success could continue.
Key injury updates to watch include Zay Flowers and Ladd McConkey, both dealing with injuries after Week 1. Additionally, A.J. Brown has been placed on injured reserve and will be out for at least four games.

Week 2 WR Sleepers
Dontayvion Wicks, Eagles
Wicks emerges as a promising Week 2 sleeper after demonstrating big-play capability in Philadelphia‘s season opener. He caught two passes for 78 yards and a touchdown, playing almost as many snaps and running nearly as many routes as DeVonta Smith. With upcoming favorable matchups against Tennessee and Chicago, Wicks has the potential to see more targets in the Eagles’ offense.

Devaughn Vele, Saints
Vele’s seven catches for 69 yards and a touchdown put him on the fantasy radar. With New Orleans traveling to Baltimore, his Week 2 volume will be worth watching closely.
Week 2 WR Busts
Drake London, Falcons
London didn’t have the Week 1 production fantasy managers wanted, and he’ll need more volume to return value in Week 2. The matchup with Carolina gives him bounce-back potential, but his Week 1 usage keeps him outside the top tier.
Jalen Coker, Panthers
Coker is an unusual bust candidate because his Week 1 performance was so spectacular. Eight catches, 138 yards, and two touchdowns are difficult to repeat, and his ranking is intentionally more conservative because of the possibility of regression.
