Elliot Page Wears Platform Crocs on Balenciaga Red Carpet

In a move that made viewers wonder who was a model and who was a spectator, Demna Gvasalia turned the red carpet into his spring 2022 runway for Balenciaga. Actor Elliot Page happened to be one such guest — when they arrived on the red carpet in a sleek black suit, complete with Balenciaga’s latest riff on Crocs, he begged the question: model or showgoer? Incidentally, Elliot was, in fact, enlisted by Demna as an official model for the collection — and he and his Crocs quickly became the stars of the red carpet show. The studded platforms are Crocs reimagined — tougher and more statement-making with a metal plate at the toe that reads “Balenciaga”, just so everyone knows exactly how fashion they are.
