Louis Vuitton Lit Up Fifth Avenue With Its Flagship Grand Reopening

It’s beginning to look a lot like Louis! Last night, Louis Vuitton took over Fifth Avenue with the glitzy reopening of its flagship boutique on New York City’s 57th Street. Following a multi-year renovation, the brand officially opened its doors for its glamorous kickoff party—and it did not disappoint!

As a label with an especially rich fashion heritage, Louis Vuitton’s new store paid tribute to its past, present, and future. Attendees were immediately greeted by a soaring central skylight flanked by gleaming columns, all crafted from towering stacks of LV trunks. Throughout the night, everyone journeyed up and down the store’s escalators, making stops at its in-house Le Cafe Louis Vuitton coffee lounge and chocolatier Le Chocolat Maxime Frederic at Louis Vuitton. While sipping blended NYC-inspired cocktails and champagne, attendees snacked on pizza with caviar, lobster hot dogs, and miniature cheesecakes. Mike D. of the Beastie Boys and The Fcukers were on-site to keep guests in high spirits with their energetic DJ sets, to boot!

Throughout the evening, guests explored and shopped the store while discovering enchanting NYC activations—including a Louis Vuitton-branded phone booth, live drawings, and hand-painting demonstrations. Nods to the brand’s house codes were everywhere, from LV Flowers-shaped seating to ceilings strung with rows of luggage tags. Each floor also included special installations by OMA Architects of archival pieces from its most iconic collaborations, including Takashi Murakami, Stephen Sprouse, Yayoi Kusama, Supreme, and Richard Prince. In addition to those unique elements, the store’s sprawling four floors spanned handbags, womenswear, menswear, luggage, and its full range of accessories—as well as a special fifth floor reserved for high jewelry and private client appointments.

Naturally, A-list ambassadors and stylish stars made a splash at the glamorous evening. Dressed in their best LV outfits, guests included Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Connelly, Cynthia Erivo, Martha Stewart, Ana de Armas, Nina Dobrev, Willa Fitzgerald, Juliana Canfield, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Eve Hewson, Este Haim, Ella Hunt, Scout LaRue Willis, and Francesca Scorsese. Additional chic attendees included Law Roach, Charlotte Groenveld, Joseph Errico, Amy Odell, Justin Ravitz, Irina Grechko, Alyssa Brascia, Brooke Frischer, Bella Gerard, Kelsey Stiegman, Ali Webb, David Ruff, Sierra Mayhew, Kate Bartlett, Luca Mornet, Fred Kim, Scott Shapiro, James Birken, and more.
