The West Hollywood EDITION is blossoming for the holidays, thanks to its latest installation! The chic hotel’s Sunset Strip location has welcomed artist, florist, and photographer Becky Hearn for a new partnership, where she’s crafted a blooming installation.
The Tree of Memory
Titled The Tree of Memory, Hearn’s sculpture brings a whimsical take to the classic Christmas tree for the holiday season. Through New Year’s Eve, the massive floral piece will be on display in the EDITION hotel’s lobby for all to enjoy. Aside from beautiful blooms, however, it also features a video camera that projects its subjects on a display screen, bringing a technological flair.
“The goal is to transform the familiar symbol of the Christmas tree into an interactive experience where guests become a part of the artwork,” Hearn says. “By offering a personalized, branded moment, ‘The Tree of Memory’ reflects my work as a director and photographer, where natural beauty and visual storytelling converge.”

Hearn’s sculpture is also her most recent creative effort. The multidisciplinary creative is known for her floral pieces made with FWED and Revolve, plus her own Bucky’s Flowers floral studio. It also marks the latest initiative for the West Hollywood EDITION, which is also toasting the holidays with its new Holiday Helper seasonal cocktail at the December Lobby Bar, made in partnership with Punch! The sweet cocktail, which features Ketel One Vodka, Drambuie, vanilla, lime, and Boiron passion fruit puree, will donate proceeds to School on Wheels for children’s tutoring.
To mark the Tree of Memory’s launch, Hearn gathered a chic crew at the West Hollywood EDITION. Guests from the fields of fashion, entertainment, art, and more enjoyed Lobby Bar drinks and experiencing the Tree for the first time. Later, Hearn and her nearest and dearest swapped locations for the hotel’s Sunset at EDITION club, where beats by DJ Hank Korsan kept everyone dancing the night away! Guests included Amanda Luvaj, Monica Ahanonou, Gregory Alexander, Alaina Etue, Leonardo Bernardes, and more.
