According to new reports, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was ‘involved in a domestic violence incident,’ and arrested as a result! That being said, fans of Jersey Shore may know that the reality TV star is actually still carrying out his 36 months of probation at this point.
As per TMZ, Ronnie is still ‘in police custody’ following his arrest over a ‘felony domestic violence incident.’
The reports about this new incident come while Ronnie is still in the middle of his probation for another domestic violence incident that took place in October of 2019 and involved his former girlfriend, Jen Harley.
At the time, the two apparently got into a heated argument that got physical.
The man allegedly punched and slapped Jen while at an Airbnb.
As she ran out of the house to escape, Ronnie supposedly chased after her with a knife while also holding their daughter Ariana in his arms.
He then proceeded to lock himself in the house with the, at the time, 18 month old, until police entered the rental property by force, tasing and then arresting him.
On the other hand, Ronnie insisted that ‘he NEVER picked up or threatened Jen with a knife.’
Instead, he just confronted Jen that night because he ‘was afraid she was trying to take the daughter away from their Airbnb rental home,’ as per TMZ insiders.
Eventually, he ‘pled no contest to one count of domestic battery and one count of resisting arrest,’ and was sentenced to no jail time but to 36 months of probation instead.
Nearly a year after the incident, one source told HollywoodLife that ‘Ron talks to Jen as minimally as possible. They do not get along anymore. Things between the two are probably as good as they will ever be and they have to be in one another’s lives but it is safe to say they will never be friends.’
