By announcing that tickets were just released for the upcoming shows in Austin, there is no focus on the actual arrests. The shoe kick just took over the entire internet.

A very standard promo picture was launched by the podcaster/comedian for his upcoming Tuesday and Wednesday shows in Austin. The picture of him divinely standing in some very-galaxy-type sneakers stole the limelight altogether. Sleek and futuristically inclined, there are limited adjectives describing those shoes as sci-fi, so the crowd just went absolutely nuts.
One asked, “Where tf u get those shoes?” and another one said, “Forget the tickets. I want the shoes.” Frankly? I agree. So much buzz was created that someone noted, “That is a left shoe,” as if that could’ve diminished the giant grasping-gasp for these sneakers.
But distractions were not only shoe-related. A few offered jabs at the comedy itself: one remarked, “You and your friends aren’t funny,” while another sarcastic jibe enquired, “You gonna try to tell a joke up there sometime soon?”
And then the chaos of suggestions included someone encouraging Rogan to fight Liver King (???), and the conspiracy theorist alleging, “totally staged because the lighting is off and the wind is blowing in the wrong direction.” Yeah, sure, buddy.
At some point in-between, some remembered the point of the original post-the shows-but responded wildly-one actually joked about “interstellar gas fees,” whatever that means, and another asked Rogan to “meditate with a Wizard.”
The real winner is whoever designed those kicks, for if Rogan ever does go into a limited-ever shoe drop, it’ll probably sell out faster than his live shows.

Ticketwise, there are still tickets for Austin, but most will just scroll past looking for the shoes.
