Obsession star Inde Navarette set the record straight on rumors pertaining to her casting in Heat 2. Joining The Kyle Buchanan Show, Navarette revealed that she “was not offered Heat 2” after auditioning for the upcoming sequel for a couple of months. She made it clear that she did not turn down the role, explaining that “no matter how big you get, you’re still going to get told no:”
“I’m glad that you brought it up because I can say it. No, I was not offered ‘Heat 2.’ I auditioned, I want to say, for two months from April all the way up until…I don’t know if I had gotten cast, but it was just kind of no longer a conversation. I remember I sent in multiple self-tapes, different self-tapes. So, I was like, ‘What do you like? What do you not like?’ I mean, it’s with an insane cast, and even if it was as small of a character, I just wanted to learn. So, definitely didn’t say no, but I think that’s one of those opportunities where, no matter how big you get, you’re still going to get told no.”
More to come…
