A horror film for diehard fans of the genre, In a Violent Nature offers a new take on the classic slasher flick. Primarily told from the perspective of the killer, the film follows Johnny (Ry Barrett), a mute and vicious murderer who terrorizes a group of teenagers in the Ontario wilderness. After a mysterious locket is unwittingly removed from its resting place by one of the aforementioned teens, Johnny’s rotting corpse emerges from the ground.

Hellbent on vengeance and enraged by the disturbance, he begins to search for the stolen locket. As such, anyone who crosses his path meets a fatal end. Having been previously entombed with only the locket keeping Johnny’s spirit at bay, the teenagers quickly discover that simply returning the trinket to its rightful place won’t undo his resurrection.
