With everyone seemingly underestimating them at every turn, they just might be able to accomplish such a massive feat. In the wake of her own personal tragedy, Cheryl (Reese Witherspoon) dares to make the 1,100-mile journey by herself as a way to reckon with the events of her past.

However, because she is not an experienced hiker by any means, the trek isn’t easy. Nevertheless, her fortitude and determination ultimately give her the strength she needs to take part in such a bold journey. ‘In a Violent Nature’

Stream on April 22

A horror film for diehard fans of the genre, In a Violent Nature offers a new take on the classic slasher flick. Primarily told from the perspective of the killer, the film follows Johnny (Ry Barrett), a mute and vicious murderer who terrorizes a group of teenagers in the Ontario wilderness. After a mysterious locket is unwittingly removed from its resting place by one of the aforementioned teens, Johnny’s rotting corpse emerges from the ground.

Hellbent on vengeance and enraged by the disturbance, he begins to search for the stolen locket. As such, anyone who crosses his path meets a fatal end. Having been previously entombed with only the locket keeping Johnny’s spirit at bay, the teenagers quickly discover that simply returning the trinket to its rightful place won’t undo his resurrection. As such, there’s little hope that any of the teens will survive Johnny’s murderous wrath. In a Violent Nature is streaming on April 22.
