Invincible Season 3 Release Date & Trailer Confirmed by Amazon

Invincible Season 3 Release Date & Trailer Confirmed by Amazon

The official trailer and release date for Invincible Season 3 has been confirmed by Amazon, after the major leak originally revealed the information yesterday. New episodes arrive on Prime Video on February 6, 2025, and fans can rejoice as the next season will not be taking an extended break in between episodes. The teaser trailer can be watched here.

The original story is as follows…

Invincible Season 3 may be arriving sooner than some fans expected, if a new report is to be believed. After wrapping up the second season in April this year, Invincible Season 3 and 4 were already confirmed to be in the works by Amazon Studios. However, it was presumed audiences would have to wait over a year for new episodes, which may not be the case. A brand-new leak for Invincible reveals the release date for the third season premiere episode, details on the rollout, and a teaser trailer featuring new footage.

Known leaker Jace Johnson, responsible for posting spoilers for Arcane, returned to X/Twitter to post details about Invincible. The biggest bombshell he dropped was that Season 3 will premiere on February 6, 2025 (via Zero on X). This makes the wait between seasons less than a year, significantly less than what fans waited for Season 2 (two and a half years). The leaked trailer includes the release date and features Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) and Cecil Stedman (Walton Goggins) talking in a café, mirroring the Season 2 teaser that featured Allen the Alien (Seth Rogen). Although there is no confirmation that the release information and trailer are real, it seems mighty sophisticated and detailed for it to be fake.

The big controversy with the latest season was the four-month mid-season break during Invincible Season 2. An earth-shattering first few episodes were the talk of the town, but the extended hiatus arguably killed a lot of momentum for the acclaimed second season. According to the latest leak, there will be no mid-season break during Season 3, nor will the show be lessening its episode count or quality. It seems that series creator Robert Kirkman is keeping his promise of making the break between seasons as brief as possible.

What Will Invincible Season 3 Be About?

The ending of Invincible Season 2 left things more uncertain than ever for Mark Grayson aka Invincible. After brutally defeating Angstrom and meeting a future version of the Guardians of the Globe, Mark is left contemplating his actions and imminent future. Many have speculated that Conquest, an infamous villain from the comics, could be making his way onto the show the next time we see Invincible again. Kirkman had previously teased which characters would show up in Invincible Season 3, and whether audiences would see everyone from the second season.

“But there are so many actors that are in Season 3 that are not in Season 2 that I am terrified to talk about actors in interviews, because Season 3 has already been recorded, and the sessions definitely run together in my head. There are people who were in Season 1 whose characters don’t appear in Season 2, but do appear in Season 3 — that’s a tidbit I’ll give you.”

The live-action adaptation of Invincible has finally received a major update from its creator, Robert Kirkman, although it is somewhat disappointing.

With the arrival of Invincible Season 3 getting closer, speculation continues to run rampant on what parts of the source material it could cover. The show has been really faithful thus far, so many assume that we could be seeing Mark don his dark blue and black suit when the next season arrives. The animated show is heading toward its darkest and most horrifying moments, especially if the Invincible War is covered, a major event so large that some have deemed it too ambitious for the adaptation.
