Talking Heads’ Jerry Harrison & King Crimson’s Adrian Belew announce ‘Remain In Light’ 2025 UK and European tour

Talking Heads‘ Jerry Harrison and King Crimson‘s Adrian Belew have announced their 2025 ‘Remain In Light’ UK and European tour.

The five-date run will see Harrison and Belew make their way across the EU and UK beginning with a gig in Stockholm on May 18. From there, the duo will make stops in cities such as Oslo, Copenhagen, Cologne, Warsaw and Luxembourg before heading over to the UK with stops in Manchester and Wolverhampton. The tour will wrap up on June 7 in London.

The tour is named ‘Remain In Light’ which also serves as the title of Talking Heads’ 1980 LP. It marked the third and final of the band’s albums to be produced by Brian Eno, and saw a number of additional musicians brought in to contribute to the LP, including Belew, who played guitar.

According to a press release, Harrison and Belew will be joined by their all-star backing band to perform renditions of Talking Heads classics such as ‘Once In A Lifetime’, ‘Psycho Killer’, ‘Take Me To The River’ as well as selections from their storied respective solo careers.

Cool Cool Cool will serve as a Special Guest on all dates. Tickets will go on general sale this Friday (December 6) at 10am local time. Visit here to purchase tickets and check out a full list of dates below.

Last year, Harrison opened up about his feelings about Talking Head’s re-release of their film Stop Making Sense and how it acted as somewhat of a “healing experience” for the band.

“We own the film together, [so we had] to work together to make a decision,” he said while appearing as a guest on the Kyle Meredith With… podcast. “‘Is A24 the right distributor for us, the right partner for us?’ We had to have conversations about that, and this is something we did together. Then A24 is going like: ‘Here’s the offer — we’re going to get really behind this, if you help us.’ And so it was like, ‘obviously, we need to work together to make this a success.’”

As well as Stop Making Sense coming back into cinemas earlier this year and the remastered 4K version of the 1984 movie being shared, the iconic band also reunited at a special screening as part of the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.

Since then, the members have opened up about the film’s creation in an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in June, saying that they didn’t want it to be “too Spinal Tap“.
