TWICE singer Nayeon has unveiled a huge line-up of collaborations for her upcoming mini-album.
On May 17 at Midnight KST, the K-pop idol dropped a “Collab Artist Reveal” video on YouTube. The clip features Nayeon logging into a virtual meeting, with each producer and artist revealing themselves as they join the call.
Per the album’s official tracklist released on X, KISS OF LIFE rapper and vocalist Julie will appear on the song ‘Magic’, while singer-songwriter Sam Kim and AKMU’s Lee Chan-hyuk will feature on ‘Heaven’ and ‘HalliGalli’ respectively. Both Kim and Lee also helped co-write their songs with Nayeon.
Other collaborators include JYP founder J.Y. Park, who co-wrote her upcoming lead single ‘ABCD’, producers Pdogg and GHSTLOOP who produced the track as well as singer-songwriter SOLE, who contributed lyrics to ‘Count It’.
Titled ‘NA’, Nayeon’s new mini-album will be released on June 14 at 1pm KST/Midnight ET. The upcoming record will be her second solo release, following 2022’s ‘Im Nayeon’ which was led by the single ‘Pop!’
That release made the singer the first member of TWICE to go solo. Last August, fellow vocalist Jihyo became the second of the group to launch her solo career with her mini-album ‘ZONE’ and its lead track ‘Killin’ Me Good’.
While Nayeon and Jihyo are the only members from the girl group to have officially gone solo, member Chaeyoung also unveiled an original song titled ‘My Guitar’ on the group’s ‘Ready To Be’ world tour last year.
Meanwhile, TWICE’s latest release as a group was their 13th Korean EP ‘With You-th’ back in February, which was led by the singles ‘I Got You’ and ‘One Spark’.
In other K-pop news, legendary second-generation act 2NE1 have gotten together to commemorate their 15th anniversary with a group photoshoot, which they shared earlier today. “Hope today 2NE1 reminds you to feel your light. Thank you always,” said leader CL in a message to fans.
