Thanks to Issa Rae, Sweet Life: Los Angeles has become our new favorite reality TV show. The HBO Max series offers a refreshing look at a group of Black friends in their 20s as they navigate their careers, families, and love lives in Los Angeles. The cast includes Tylynn Burns, Amanda Scott, P’Jae Compton, Jerrold Smith II, Cheryl Des Vignes, Jordan Bentley, and Briana Jones, and yes, they are actually friends in real life. In fact, they seem to have just as much fun off screen as they do when the cameras are rolling. Just see for yourself ahead.
