The Minnesota Timberwolves are trading guard Josh Green and cash to the Utah Jazz for guards Cody Williams and John Konchar, sources told Shams Charania of ESPN.
The Timberwolves are expected to keep Williams, the No. 10 pick from the 2024 draft, and waive and stretch Konchar, sources told Charania, who adds that moving Green’s $14.7-million deal gives the team enough salary space to sign Jonathan Kuminga to a mid-level exception.
Minnesota acquired Green from the Charlotte Hornets in the LaMelo Ball trade in June.
The 25-year-old averaged 4.3 points with 1.8 rebounds while shooting 42% from three in 58 games last season.
Williams, 21, averaged 8.8 points with three rebounds and two assists over 67 games during 2025-26. He started 41 contests.
Konchar put up 4.4 points with 2.1 assists and 1.5 steals across 56 games between the Jazz and Memphis Grizzlies last season.
