Saniya Alimhan: Innovating Permanent Makeup with the Silk Pixel Method

In the evolving world of beauty, PMU artists are pushing boundaries to deliver natural, long-lasting results. Saniya Alimhan, a Turkey-based expert, stands out with her signature Silk Pixel Method™, a technique that’s gaining traction for its subtle, seamless approach. Born in Voronezh, Russia, in 1992, Saniya’s journey began with a degree in Textile Technologies, but her passion for aesthetics led her to PMU. After rigorous training at Academy Royal and BMX Academy, and mentorship under Neslihan Hosseven, she honed her craft in lip pigmentation and microblading.

Saniya’s innovation, the Silk Pixel Method™, emerged from addressing common PMU issues like uneven fading and harsh lines. This three-directional pixel layering technique: vertical, cross at 45 degrees that creates soft, even color without mixing pigments, ensuring purity and safety. It’s adaptable to various skin types, making it ideal for her international clientele from the US, UK, Kazakhstan, Russia, Bulgaria, and Ukraine.

Her expertise has earned her prestigious recognition. In 2025, the International Beauty Awards named her one of the Top 10 Permanent Makeup Artists worldwide, a testament to her technical excellence and commitment to natural results. Saniya’s authority extends to judging roles at the Phoenix World Beauty Competition (July 1 to September 5, 2025) and the World Beauty Championship (WBC XVI). She holds the title of International Official Judge from the IBJA Academy, underscoring her influence in setting global standards.

Saniya is an active member of the Global Association of Tattoo and Piercing Artists and the Alliance of Professional Tattooists (APT), where she contributes to advancing professional ethics and innovation in the field. These associations have provided platforms for her to share knowledge and collaborate with peers, further solidifying her role as a leader in PMU.

Adding to her accomplishments, Saniya has authored “Mastering the Art of Timeless Beauty in Permanent Make-Up,” available on Amazon. The book blends memoir and practical guide, detailing her Silk Pixel Method™ and offering insights into techniques, client care, and industry trends. It’s a resource for aspiring artists, emphasizing education and mentorship—values Saniya promotes through her workshops.

Saniya’s impact is evident in her global reach. Clients praise her for results that feel “born with,” not applied. As she balances her career with family life—wife to an engineer and mother of two, she remains grounded, drawing inspiration from her loved ones. Her mission: to empower through beauty that’s authentic and enduring.

Saniya Alimhan’s work continues to redefine PMU. Her vision is clear: beauty should feel effortless, authentic, and timeless — a philosophy that is shaping the next era of permanent makeup.
