Her career continued to flourish, earning Arquette critical praise and recognition for her work on film and television. For her work on Medium, Arquette earned the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2005. Arquette received an Academy Award for portraying Olivia in 2014’s Boyhood. For Showtime’s Escape at Dannemora, Arquette won the Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie. In 2019, Arquette starred in Hulu’s The Act, opposite Joey King. The series, based on the real-life story of Dee Dee Blanchard and her daughter Gypsy Rose Blanchard, earned Arquette the Golden Globe Award and Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress.

Arquette most recently appeared on Apple TV+’s Severance as Harmony Cobel. The workplace thriller will return for a second season.
