HBO Max has rolled out an impressive look at the new projects, returning originals, and exclusive films headed to the streamer in 2022.
As we begin another trip around the sun, HBO Max has shown us what we can look forward to after the ball drops. The streamer has bombarded our eager eyeballs with over 35 titles including new series, returning originals, and exclusive films headed to the streamer in 2022. Between the highly-anticipated fourth season of Westworld, the second season of The Righteous Gemstones to the new mini-series The White House Plumbers and the prequel series Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, it’s hard to choose which ones to dive into first!
HBO Max took to Twitter, captioning the announcement boldly with “Redeem this in 2022.”

- Westworld returns its fourth season.
- Euphoria returns for its second season on January 9, 2022.
- Barry returns for its third season.
- The Righteous Gemstones returns for its second season on January 9th with a double episode.
- A Black Lady Sketch Show returns for its third season.
- His Dark Materials returns for its third season.
- The Nevers returns for its second season.
- Gossip Girl returns for its second season.
- Hacks returns for its second season.
- Raised by Wolves returns for its second season on February 3, 2022.
- The Flight Attendant returns for its second season.
- Legendary returns for its third season.
The White House Plumbers will premiere, starring Woody Harrelson, Justin Theroux and David Krumholtz. The five-part mini-series tells the true story of how Nixon’s own political saboteurs and Watergate masterminds, E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy, accidentally toppled the presidency they were trying to protect.
Another mini-series that fans are excited about is the ten-part series Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, starring Quincy Isaiah, Sean Patrick Small, and John C. Reilly. The limited series will tell the story of how the Los Angeles Lakers became the most successful professional basketball team in the 1980s. They say we can expect to see the series begin in March.

We’ll also see the retrospective Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts on New Year’s Day, as well as, feature films including Free Guy, The Last Duel and F9: The Fast Saga. HBO Max will also be offering WB streaming exclusives including Father of the Bride, Kimi, The Fallout, Scoob: Holiday Haunt, House Party, and Moonshot.
While many release dates have not yet been set, we can be sure that HBO Max will keep us posted. And while we’re waiting for the highly-anticipated series and films to arrive, HBO Max’s catalog has offerings from classics, new releases, and an extensive library of original series that will never get old.
