Netflix’s TUDUM event brought a new reel of unseen Stranger Things bloopers featuring Eddie, Vecna and the rest of the residents of Hawkins.

Netflix’s annual TUDUM event brought many clips, trailers and release dates of some of the platforms biggest and most anticipated shows. However, it also delivered some blooper reels for some of this year’s summer hits, including the mighty Stranger Things. While there were obviously no new reveals about the future of the horror series, fans got to see a little more from season four, but in a much less serious way.
The Stranger Things season four blooper reel brought, appropriately, four minutes of unseen footage featuring goofs, gaffs, a big helping of fan-favorite Eddie and plenty of laughs that are a stark contrast to the high-stakes thrills of the series. With such a long season, it is not surprising that there are plenty of moments that have been compiled into the blooper reel, and it adds a nice little coda to the show, which will return again for one more season sometime in the next couple of years. Check out the blooper reel below.

Stranger Things 5 Will See Vecna Out For Revenge
Netflix
Despite the clear joy that comes with some of the filming of the series, Stranger Things season five will once again be a dark and thrilling affair, with the series’ villain Vecna coming to Hawkins for what is certain to be a terrifying showdown with Eleven and the rest of the gang. While it is not yet known who will survive, Vecna’s real-life alter ego, actor Jamie Campbell Bower, has previously revealed that there will be nowhere for the residents of Hawkins to hide when Vecna returns. He said:
“He’s pissed, he’s properly vexed, I don’t think he’s slunk off licking his wounds in misery. He’s rebuilding, and he’s out for blood. It’s like, you’ve really f*cking pushed the buttons now, that classic Jason Voorhees thing – you’ve made a big mistake.”
While season four brought a new villain, as well as the popular character of Eddie, fans shouldn’t expect any new faces joining the show for its final season. The Duffer Brothers previously revealed there won’t be any new characters for fans to become too attached to in season five. They said:
“And the same was true with Sadie and Maya. And it’s not like the actors don’t know [either]. They all know that they’re coming into a cast people love, and you’re introducing a new element. And you’ve seen it on shows go wrong, and so they’re all nervous, but like Ross said, with those particular three, and Dacre [Mongomery] as well, who played Billy, it was like, because these actors are amazing it’s just really fun. I just like shaking it up, so we shake it up by changing the plot or adding in a new monster. We’re doing our best to resist [adding new characters] for Season 5. We’re trying not to do that so we can focus on the OG characters, I guess.”
All four seasons of Stranger Things are currently streaming on Netflix, with season five currently being written and expected to arrive on the platform in a couple of years.
