The new comedy series That ’90s Show will land at No. 5 on Netflix‘s top 10 list upon its debut. A continuation of That ’70s Show, the sitcom brings back original stars Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp alongside a younger cast of characters to carry the torch into another decade. This puts That ’90s Show at No. 5 on the list of most-watched English-language shows on the streamer. Will That ’90s Show Get a Renewal?
Netflix
It remains to be seen if That ’90s Show will get renewed, or if our return to Point Place will be limited to one season. That will obviously boil down to the success of the show. While debuting at No. 1 would have been ideal, landing at No. 5 is respectable, suggesting there are many people watching – even if not quite as much as there are for Ginny & Georgia. Reviews similarly are on the positive side but not perfect, scoring a 74% approval rating at Rotten Tomatoes. Whether this will be enough to convince Netflix to roll the dice with another season is something we’ll find out soon enough, but is currently unknown.
That ’90s Show stars Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp alongside Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Reyn Doi, Sam Morelos, and Maxwell Acee Donovan, The series also features guest appearances from several original members of That ’70s Show.
