The original Star Wars trilogy had a very short timeline, but that was only the beginning of the story. Just as the original trilogy became the center point of the subsequent prequel and sequel trilogies, the entire Skywalker Saga and everything that has been built between that story are now about to sit within an even more expanded universe. That expansion begins with The Acolyte.
The series is set around 100 years before the events of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, and will be focused on the rising Sith power in the galaxy. We already know where the story goes, but how it gets there is something that Lucasfilm are now attempting to explore in a number of ways.

The story of The Acolyte, though, is not that far in the past when considering the upcoming James Mangold movie, which will go back thousands of years to the dawn of the Jedi order. While that film is still sometime away, The Acolyte’s arrival is only a few months away as the first live-action offering of 2024.
In addition to
The Acolyte, Skeleton Crew

Season 2 are currently expected to debut on Disney+ later this year.
