Several icons from the worlds of movies, television, and music will receive stars on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, with the likes of Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh, the late, great Chadwick Boseman, and Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot all set to be included in The Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2024. As confirmed by the Walk of Fame Selection Panel of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce “These honorees were chosen from among hundreds of nominations to the committee.”
“The Selection Committee which is made up of fellow Walk of Famers, carefully hand-picks a group of honorees each year that represent various genres of the entertainment world,” Chair and Walk of Famer Ellen K said in a statement. “The Committee did an amazing job choosing these very talented people. We can’t wait to see each honoree’s reaction as they realize that they are becoming a part of Hollywood’s history with the unveiling of their star on the world’s most famous walkway!”
The Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2024 are, in the category of Motion Pictures, Kevin Feige, Gal Gadot, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Chris Meledandri, Chris Pine, Christina Ricci, Michelle Yeoh, and Chadwick Boseman, who will receive the award posthumously after sadly passing away in 2020 following a private battle with colon cancer.

On the small screen in the category of television, the likes of Ken Jeong, Eugene Levy, Mario Lopez, Jim Nantz, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Michael Schur, Kerry Washington, and Raúl De Molina and Lili Estefan, Co-Hosts of the television show, El Gordo y La Flaca, will receive a star.
In recording, Glen Ballard, Toni Braxton, Def Leppard, Charles Fox, Sammy Hagar, Brandy Norwood, Darius Rucker, Gwen Stefani, and Andre ‘Dr. Dre’ Young will be honored, while the likes of Jane Krakowski and singer and songwriting icon Otis Redding will receive a star in the category of Live Theatre/Live Performance. Last, but by no means least, Angie Martinez will be honored in the category of Radio, with Billie Jean King and Carl Weathers being honored in the category of Sports Entertainment.

After a career spanning decades on the big screen, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon star Michelle Yeoh has at last been receiving the Hollywood recognition she has long-deserved. Alongside the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Yeoh was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actress for her lead performance in the multiverse-exploring action/comedy/drama, Everything Everywhere All at Once.
“This is actually a historical moment, and I have to thank the Academy for acknowledging, embracing diversity and true representation,” Yeoh said during her acceptance speech. “I think this is something that we have been working so hard towards for a very long time, and tonight we freaking broke that glass ceiling. I Kung Fu’d it out and shattered it, and we need this because there are so many who felt unseen, unheard.”
Michelle Yeoh has several projects currently in the pipeline, including a role in director James Cameron’s Avatar 3 and Avatar 4.
