Big Brother Spoilers: A Split Vote Shakes The House Before Eviction Night

Big Brother Spoilers: A Split Vote Shakes The House Before Eviction Night

The Week 1 Eviction is a tight race to the finish.

Head of Household Dee Valladeres wanted an easy eviction for Big Brother Season 28. Initially, she leaned toward targeting Mallory.

However, as our TV Fanatics reported, everything changed after the Power of Veto.

You guessed it: Mallory won the POV and took herself off the block!

After using the POV, she forced Dee to name a new nominee. In her place, Dee chose Ashley.

By all accounts, Ashley’s nomination shouldn’t have changed the course of events.

Mostly, she’s an outsider who hasn’t cemented any core alliances. Sure, Ashley has been an entertaining houseguest, but her gameplay was non-existent.

Her fate depended greatly on the outcome of the BB Blockbuster against fellow nominees Yash and Taylor.

So, what changed to ignite the house?

The alliances are taking shape.

Three words: A split house.

Before the nominations, new alliances were being formed. On one side, you had “The Red Corner,” a group formed between Kamu, Haley, Chuk, Dee, and Rick.

Their members had been secretly leading the vote, buddying up to HOH Dee.

The alliance benefited another secret group called “The Crossovers.” This group comprised Rick, Dee, Angela, Drew, and Barrett.

Through all accounts, Dee and Rick are more loyal to The Crossovers. It helps everyone to manipulate The Red Corner members.

After the POV Ceremony, Yash’s fate was sealed. At least, it looked to be.

If he faced Ashley or Taylor during the eviction vote, he would’ve been evicted unanimously. The house agreed he was the easy target.

Had Yash won the BB Blockbuster, Ashley would have been the next unanimous target.

Taylor had nothing to worry about, as no one viewed her as a threat.

Unfortunately, Taylor’s brewing friendship with LaTrice played a part in lines being drawn.

LaTrice finds herself on the opposite side of the house. She’s buddying up to players like Rome, Jason, and Taylor.

By extension, Rome is connected to his showmance, Lyric.

Lyric has close ties to Melody and Mallory. And Jason is connected to everyone, despite his open targets of the reality TV icons (Dee, Rick, and Angela).

Yash is on an island by himself. However, he’s strangely closest to Rome.

Rome hasn’t done anything to justify this safety, and Yash isn’t playing well enough overall. But the boys had cemented a friendship.

Now, we have one side of the house that’d benefit from Taylor and Yash staying, and another side that needs to turn the numbers in their favor.

Enter the Ashley predicament!

Would it benefit The Red Corner and The Crossovers to keep Ashley? Would they take the risk?

Based on the 24/7 live feeds, it seems so. Big Brother Season 28 is a split house of alliances!

How Close Are The Eviction Votes?

Heading into Thursday’s Eviction Night, the numbers are too close to call.

The Red Corner and The Crossovers are leaning heavily toward keeping Ashley. As of now, Dee looks to be breaking any ties in Ashley’s favor.

In a Yash vs. Ashley vote, Yash will go home in a possible 7-7 tie, with Dee breaking the tie.

The same goes for an Ashley vs. Taylor vote. A tie happens if Yash votes out Ashley instead.

On the other hand, a Yash vs. Taylor vote is up in the air.

The Big Brother Season 28 house is constantly shifting, but it’s clear Yash hasn’t found his footing yet. He has no strong bonds to protect him.

He’s thrown out the idea of a men’s agreement (not an alliance, per se). This, however, hasn’t grown into anything substantial.

Taylor, meanwhile, started having chats and making attempts to save herself.

She hasn’t succeeded in the same way Ashley has through her campaigning, but there’s still time for her to build bonds with houseguests like Angela.

Whoever wins the BB Blockbuster will change the course on Eviction Night.

New Plans Could Shake The Votes.

Interestingly, Mallory and Melody are still undecided votes.

In a typical Big Brother season, we would’ve seen both connect with Lyric to form a trio and vote together. However, Mallory’s nomination led Melody to distance herself from her former friend.

Melody made a terrible move. Mallory is still here!

While we can estimate that they’ll vote with Lyric, the tensions between them will ruin any future alliances in the short term.

What could impact the votes? Drew.

Drew is on good terms with everyone. However, he’s a feisty bro who dishes all the dirt.

He almost hindered his game by revealing Jason was coming for the veterans. Dee, Rick, and Angela have warmed back up to him, but they’re recognizing Drew is a floater.

If Jason finds out Drew spilled the tea, that’ll cement the divide even further.

In addition, Drew has formed strong groupings outside of The Crossovers.

His fake parachute alliance with Melody has evolved into a strong working relationship.

Drew and Melody are on track to be an established working pair. They’re already in a few trios with Barrett and Jason.

And they formed the “Four Seasons” alliance with Lyric and Rome.

He’s already warning Melody not to be on the wrong side of the vote. If she votes his way, he might get the showmance to switch too.

Drew might seal the eviction vote long before the BB Blockbuster is needed.
