Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade Coordinate in Gold Outfits

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade hit the red carpet in coordinating gold outfits for the premiere of Netflix’s “The Redeem Team” on Sept. 22. Their eye-catching color choice might be a nod to the documentary, which centers on the US men’s basketball team’s journey to win gold at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

With help from her stylist, Thomas Christos Kikis, Union took a high-glam approach to the metallic hue, wearing a Valentino scoop-neck minidress completely covered in sequins. She paired the design with a longer matching coat that hit below her knees to achieve a gorgeous high-low silhouette.

The “L.A.’s Finest” actor was thoughtful yet understated with her accessories. She styled the beaded, shiny set with strapped stilettos of the same tone, while her hair sat at the top of her head in a perfectly slick ballerina bun. For jewelry, Union opted for a twist on the traditional hoop earrings with a 18k gold-link piece from Tiffany & Co.

Meanwhile, Wade chose an unexpected take on gold with a yellow floral suit by Gucci. In collaboration with his stylist, Jason Bolden, Wade paired the bold set with a simple white button-down and black leather dress shoes very similar to the footwear he wore at the 2022 Met Gala.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen coordinated outfits from Union and Wade. Over the summer, the power couple were spotted in complementary black-and-white looks at Paris Fashion Week. They’ve even included their children in the fun, wearing matching printed outfits with Zaya and Kaavia at the “Cheaper by the Dozen” premiere earlier this year.

Take a closer look at their latest couple style moment ahead.
