Fans can get to know the Nature Boy better than ever before by checking out a new documentary featuring new interviews with never-before-told stories from the iconic pro wrestler. Dubbed Woooooo! Becoming Ric Flair, the documentary has just arrived on the streaming platform Peacock, and Ric Flair could not be more excited. Taking to Facebook, Flair posted an image of himself streaming the doc while celebrating its arrival on Peacock.
“Watching Woooooo! Becoming Ric Flair For The First Time!” the post reads.
“Many stories have been told about The Nature Boy over the past 50 years,” Flair previously said in a statement about the doc, via HGL. “I’m thrilled to have partnered with WWE and Peacock to produce the most accurate depiction of my life to date, and hope audiences enjoy the ride. Woooo!”

Peacock has described the doc as a “revealing, in-depth, and often raw look into the life of one of sports and wrestling’s most controversial icons.” Along with Flair, also featured are names like Hulk Hogan, Mike Tyson, Post Malone, Stephen A. Smith, and Charlotte Flair.

Ric Flair’s Story Is Told

Flair has competed all over the world in various wrestling organizations over five decades. He is recognized by WWE as a 16-time World Champion, tied with John Cena as having the most reigns in history. Flair has been twice inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, once as a solo induction and again as part of the legendary group The Four Horsemen.
The pro wrestling icon is also someone who hadn’t given up the wrestling bug. Earlier this year, he competed in a special event dubbed Ric Flair’s Last Match which was promoted as a retirement bout for Flair. That follows his 2008 match against Shawn Michaels which was dubbed at the time as Flair’s last match. More recently, Flair has made it clear that he will never retire, announcing as much with a post on Twitter from the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 73-year-old’s first match.
The post read, “Thank You To Everyone Who Helped Me Celebrate My 50 Years In The Business! One Thing Is For Certain… I WILL NEVER RETIRE! WOOOOO!”
