Rihanna announced four new shades from Fenty Beauty’s Gloss Bomb Stix Nudes line today. She led with a joke first. On Instagram, the Fenty founder wrote, “only nudes I got til my 6pack come in!” – a quick, self-aware line. Then she listed the actual shades.
The six-pack reference sounds like she’s in the middle of a fitness push. She didn’t get into details, and the humor was quick and self-deprecating. Very Rihanna.
The actual launch: four new shades have joined the Gloss Bomb Stix Nudes family. They’re called $weet Whiskey, Midnight Ballerina, Birthday Suit, and Lu$t Bunny. All four are neutrals. The collection is curated to complement all skin tones. That commitment to shade inclusivity has been a Fenty Beauty constant from day one. The brand launched in 2017 with a 40-shade Pro Filt’r foundation range. That release reshaped how the beauty industry approached inclusive shade ranges. The Gloss Bomb line followed that same thinking.
The Stix format is a twist-up bullet with gloss-level shine. The formula delivers explosive shine, luscious color, and all-day locked-in moisture in a single swipe. No brush, no separate tube.
Those shade names are worth a closer look. $weet Whiskey sounds warm – something honey or amber-toned. Midnight Ballerina leans into the deeper end of neutral. Birthday Suit is exactly what it sounds like: a true nude, close to your natural lip tone. Lu$t Bunny keeps the dollar sign in the name. Very Fenty. It reads like a soft rose-nude with a little personality. Four different takes on neutral means there’s real range here, not just four versions of the same shade.
Fenty Beauty has kept the Gloss Bomb as one of its signature products for years. The original formula launched with the brand in 2017 and found a loyal following fast. The Stix version puts that same gloss energy into a bullet format, with more precision and a bit more pigment. Adding four new shades at once gives the lineup a much wider range to work with.
Rihanna has spent the past several years building out her beauty and fashion businesses. Fenty Beauty launched in 2017. Savage X Fenty, the lingerie brand, followed in 2018. Fenty Skin arrived in 2020. New music has been a long time coming – her last studio album dropped in 2016 – but the beauty side keeps moving.
All four Gloss Bomb Stix Nudes shades are available globally right now at Sephora, Ulta Beauty, and fentybeauty.com.
As for the six-pack? No update yet. The lip launch came first today.
