Tyler Christopher’s Legacy
NBC
Tyler Christopher made his debut in 1996 in General Hospital, which quickly catapulted him to fame in the world of soap operas, but it was not the only series in which his presence stood out. He had small roles in hit shows such as Charmed, Angel, and Felicity among others. In 2001, he joined the cast of another great soap opera, Days of Our Lives, playing Signore Christofero for one episode, but in 2017, he returned in a more substantial new role, that of Stefan DiMera. He became a series regular, playing the character for two years until he left the show and was replaced by Brandon Barash. Other notable titles of his career were The Twilight Zone and The Lying Game, among many other brief appearances in several projects.
Since 2019, Christopher has been in his sister Susan Asmo Baker’s guardianship due to substance abuse. However, Christopher attempted several times to remove his sister’s legal power over him, as he believed he was being exploited for her personal benefit. The actor had been struggling with his addictions for a long time, which led him to have several legal conflicts in the past.
